I'm planning to sell my Corolla in the next month or so and the one thing that keeps coming up when people view it is the roof lining, which has sagged badly at the back and looks tatty. Everything else about the car is clean, full service history, new tyres, but buyers keep fixating on the headliner and using it to knock the price down. I'm wondering whether it's worth paying for a

before listing it, or just dropping my asking price and letting the next owner deal with it. My thinking is that a tidy interior photographs better and might get more interest, but I don't want to spend money and then not recoup it. Has anyone fixed a headliner purely to sell and did it actually help move the car faster? Also how much should I expect to pay for a basic sedan, nothing fancy, because if it's cheap enough it's probably worth doing.
